Hey pple! 22nd Dec was an eventful day! We had our 1st ever class BBQ at Candice’s house at Woodgrove Condo.. Candice!! Tks so much for having us there and preparing plenty of delicious food for the night! Help us thank your mummy, daddy, maid, and maid’s friends too (got quite a few!)
Pple who attended were: Candice, Ming Zhu, Shu Yi, Wee Ling, Zi Ling, Pavitra, Sasha, Ching Yee, Wei Ling, Joseph, Jia Liang, Menon, Jia Xin and Rama
Some of us met at Woodlands MRT 1st and got to her house quite early ard 6pm.. oh ya, Wee Ling went there earlier to swim! We went to her hse 1st to put our belongings and helped to bring the food down to the BBQ pit at the poolside..ooh, ur hse is really nice Candice..so cosy and Xmasy! (with lotsa dolls on her bed =P) The rest weren’t here yet, so some of us played a couple of card games (credits to Jia Liang who always have poker cards with him)..Wee Ling, who said she didn’t know how to play ended up winning like twice! Wow!..Hmm.. We went to help start the fire but it rained and stopped, and then rained again, then stopped..with the help of Candice’s parents and maids, we finally got the fire burning and started piling on sticks of food on the grill..Sasha joined in pretty soon and she started snapping away (and eating nuts, hahas!)..(credits to Sasha for her service and camera!)
The sky grew dark soon (as in darkness of e night not cloud, ok I think it’s both la..) and we began eating while waiting for the rest to arrive.. yup, it rained again and some big umbrellas were leaking!
Wei Ling joined us after her dvd marathon at her own home! She wore casual home clothes and probably looked like a resident of the condo, the best thing is tt the security guard didn’t stop her!!! It was quite fun though, eating in the dark and rain, hiding under the umbrella too!
Hmm, romantic ambience sia, Sasha..Then later, the other guys joined in after their job..and credits to Joseph for bringing extra food like salmon, and fresh green & yellow peppers for bbq..tks Joseph for helping to prepare the fish too, it was delicious! And the peppers were, yups sweet and smoky..hahas! and Candice, I think ur mum seemed pretty impressed by Joseph! lol..
Ching Yee came ard 9pm in her super cool denim dress! Darn cool man sister..oh ya we almost threw Menon into the pool!!! But it was a failed attempt aft he objected and since we were nice pple ya? Well, the bbq more or less wrapped up..Although it rained several times, we still managed to cook the food, and I guess we also couldn’t tell in the dark if the food was cook anw! lol! The guys tried to ‘cycle’ at the playground but was told off by the security guard!! Come on man, grow up!! You all look far fm kids now! Hmm..maybe we gals can still pass off as kids in the dark? Haha!
Aft dinner, we went up to Candice’s house ard 10pm for Part 2..GAMES!
As usual, we played our favourite murderer and polar bear! I think we made A LOT of noise, but who cares, it’s b4 11pm anw! Jia Xin, Sasha and Joseph left earlier while the rest of us continued..Poor Wei Ling only got to be something other then victim until the last round and she kept being kicked out! And some polar bears (Ming Zhu, yes I mean you!) were so tired tt they decided to confess to end the game faster! Haha!! We left ard 11+ and waited darn long for 912 to the stn! Luckily we managed to catch the last train ya? Everyone got home super late and tired..but I guess we all had a great time right?
A big thank you once again to Candice and family! Sorry to trouble and disturb ur family cos we stayed really late and made hell lot of noise! But we enjoyed it a great deal.. Those who couldn’t join us this time, don’t worry we still have class chalet coming up!! We should start planning our chalet soon, in which we shall have triple the time, triple the games and quadruple the fun!! The food, hmm..sufficient will do hor! Hahas! =) Merry Xmas everyone and let’s meet up soon to plan chalet!
