Message from Mr Ng

hi all,

after much consideration, i thk i will continue with Pre-Tutorial Assessment because there will be a level-standardised class assessment anyway so there is no point having an online mcq assessment.

however, there will be some criteria which you have to meet for the online assessment to make it purposeful.
(i) you have to get at least 40% (equivalent to getting 'S' grade which shd be the minimum level u are at)
(ii) failure to do so you will be subjected to frequent questioning during tutorials.
(iii) the rest remain the same: no time limit, ONLY 1 attempt (resumable) and own time own target.

next is the college revision programme: ENABLER
1. this program is for those who obtained C and D in JC1 Promos exams BUT for my classes it will include those who get E, S and U. it is optional for A and B and you dun have to submit.
2. the program will run for the whole of Term 2 with different topics on even weeks of the Term where there will be 2 Qns which you have to hand in on the Fri of the odd weeks. [i.e. on Week 1 Fri (23mar), you have to hand in 2 qns for the topic in Week 2 and the podcast showing the solution will be uploaded on the wed(28mar) of Week 2].
3. the assignment for Term 2 Week 2 is already up on the IVLE. go to Course 9746, Workbin 2007 H2 Chem Revision, Folder Enabler to download the questions.
4. students required to submit every Fri of the odd weeks are:
mingzhu, lynette, jocelyn, weeling, ziling, candice, ariana, sasha, chingyee, joseph, jialiang, harish, jiaxin and rama

that's all. enjoy ur short hols.

take care
eugene
